In John chapter 10 Jesus speaks of Himself as the good shepherd who gives His life for the sheep. He describes His relationship with those saved by Him, who now belong to him and are cared for by Him. However, in Psalm 23 David speaks from the standpoint of the sheep. He speaks about the shepherd’s care of him. Years ago, I saw this acrostic of shepherd based on Psalm 23.
