The word of God makes very clear the various things believers in Christ are to be and do for one another. Here are 10 in God's word:
- They are to have fellowship with one another (1 John 1 v 7).
- Are to in love and serve one another (Galatians 5 v 13).
- To be kind, tender-hearted to and forgive one another (Ephesians 4 v 32).
- Are to have compassion for one another (1 Peter 3 v 8).
- To care for one another (1 Corinthians 12 v 25).
- Bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6 v 2).
- To comfort and edify one another (1 Thessalonians 5 v 11).
- Consider one another, promoting love and good works (Hebrews 10 v 24).
- Admonish one another (Romans 15 v 14).
- Exhort one another (Hebrews 3 v 13).
Jesus sums it up, "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you" (John 15 v 12).
