Psalm 31:15
My times are in Your hand;
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies,
And from those who persecute me.
Is it not wonderful to know that every event in your life and mine is under the control of God? He leaves nothing to chance. The hand of the Lord is in all that occurs, overruling and sanctifying it for our good. What peace of mind should be ours! He measures out our days; therefore we should submit to His loving will. Not by chance are we living in times like these, and we must be careful to use them properly.
Because of international and national crises, we face difficult days when people's hearts are failing them through fear. But all events are under God's sovereign control. Whether personally our times are happy or sad, He orders what each day will bring.
David assures us that being in God's hands, hour by hour our varied experiences are moulded by God into His will for our lives. He will never cause any child of His, a needless tear.
Corrie Ten Boom the Dutch believer was put into various German concentration camps with her sister, she survived but her sister died. Listen to what this suffering servant of Christ said:
Look around and be depressed,
Look within and be depressed,
Look to Jesus and be at rest.
